At Plexus, we’re making a digital religion alternative.

Highly individual young adults, especially post-college in big cities, often reject existing communities (religions, political parties, small towns, colleges, workplaces) which ask you to conform in order to belong.

Plexus offers the opposite: a radically inclusive online space that helps members belong not in spite, but because, of idiosyncrasy.

At Plexus’ core is Voices: a more intentional alternative to podcasts/music. Whatever’s on your mind, Voices is an app that generates a custom playlist, instantly, of real contactable people speaking about it. We’ve never seen technology inspired faith between strangers like Voices.

Responsibilities

You will...

• Own Voices’ design.
• Engage the Plexus community every week to understand how Voices can create more belonging.
• Co-own Product decisions with Davey: obsessing over details, debating strategy, discussing everything.

• designed enormously simple projects that have served thousands of people.
• written prolifically about the internet.
• said no to more 10x more design projects than you’ve accepted
